Very nice article explaining what happened… and if we continue on the present course… where we’re heading. If Government interference caused the problem, what will more Government control do.

What was lacking in the housing market, they say, was government regulation of the market’s “greed.” That makes great moral melodrama, but it turns the facts upside down.

It was precisely government intervention which turned a thriving industry into a basket case.

The pagan conceives of God as (at best) a commodity, a resource, a tool. If the pagan can make no use of Him — or, worse, if God gets in the way of his desires and plans — then God is to be cast off.

The Key word here is PRACTICES.

the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
9No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

I get so annoyed with universalist who say they are “christians”.
If you think all “good” people go to heaven… that’s fine… you’re wrong, but that’s fine. But when you take that stance you are no longer in the realm of TRUE Christianity.

I’ve posted this before, but I’m gonna do it again. If every so called “christian” in America listened to this we could get rid of quite a few tares.

The Narrow Way

Like the man says… if you have a problem with what he’s saying, your problem is not with him but with God. Repent of your unbelief and trust in Christ only for your salvation… if not you have no hope of salvation.

10let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead–by this name this man stands here before you in good health.

11″He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone.

12″And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:10-12

Update: If you’re still confused listen to THIS one as well.
